When I was young my grandparents would explain the seasonal time change in a way that I would always remember. In the fall, we fall back and we would move the clock backward an hour. In the spring, we spring forward and move the clock ahead an hour.
Summer was my favorite season after starting school but after having kids of my own, it was the fall. However, as I grew older, I began to appreciate all the seasons with each one serving its own purpose in nature.
Ecclesiastes3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and
summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
Spring is a time of rejuvenation, regrowth and new beginnings. So, as we enter this season, let us renew our commitment to our WHOLE self. Plant seeds for growth in every aspect of our lives: spiritually, mentally, socially and financially. Growth is a process that takes time, effort and patience. Be mindful and consistent. Remember, God is with us in every season of our lives.
