“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (St. John 10:10 ESV)
I would like to share an anonymous poem.
“There was a very cautious man who never laughed or played. He never risked, he never tried. He never sang or prayed. And when he one day passed away, his insurance was denied. For since he never really lived, they claimed he never died.”
The enemy wants to rob you of fully enjoying your life. If he can keep you perpetually anxious about the future and constantly regretting the past, he will have effectively robbed you of the present and thus of real life. Jesus came to give you life in abundance. This abundant life is not just to be enjoyed in the after- life but should be wonderfully actualized here and now on earth. In your journey of accomplishing and becoming, don’t forget to enjoy. Be fully aware and embrace the gift called life by being present in every moment of it.
